Innovative Steam Technologies
Innovative Steam Technologies (IST) manufactures Once Through Steam Generators (OTSG) for the
industrial and power generation sectors. The OTSG recovers the heat available in a gas turbine exhaust
stream. The steam generator has a once through flow path on the water/stream side. As such, all water that
enters the OTSG leaves as superheated steam without any recirculation.
A typical OTSG consists of
five major components:
- Inlet duct
- Inlet plenum
- Steam generator module
- Exhaust hood
- Exhaust stack
OTSGs are best suited for combine cycle applications,
cogeneration, gas turbine steam injection/cooling, offshore
platforms and power barges.
JNE’s technical expertise and capabilities were demonstrated
during the design of numerous OTSGs. Our contribution
was so successful that IST has since entered into a formal
partnership with JNE to provide ongoing engineering and
finite element analysis support.
The work is partially done at our main office and the remaining
by our employees located at IST’s office.
Over the past eight years, JNE has been active in the power
generation market, providing engineering and construction to
various original equipment manufacturers and plant owners. |
