Innovative approach, long-standing relationships

JNE Power is a division of JNE Consulting Ltd; based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, which has become increasingly active in the power generation market. JNE Power provides engineering and construction services to original equipment manufacturers, independent power producer and plant owners.

Our experience on projects ranging from a few megawatts to several hundred has developed an appreciation of the subtleties and unique demands of the industry.

Our innovative approach and long-standing relationships enable us to look forward with confidence to the next generation of power such as cogeneration, solar and wind power.

Our years of experience, which have enabled us to take an innovative approach to large and small projects, include detailed design work on projects such as heat recovery steam generators, gas turbines inlet systems including filterhouses, gas turbine exhaust systems, large size coal fired boiler islands and turbine halls, and cogeneration plants. In addition, we have undertaken a Research and Development program to develop a new structural system for large coal fired boiler houses. The new system will result in significant cost saving.

While we have the capability to provide full engineering, procurement, construction and management services for multi-million dollar projects, we also have the fast reaction time and flexibility of an entrepreneurial company. We are always seeking ways to improve existing methods.

JNE’s technical expertise and capabilities were demonstrated during the design of numerous Once Through Steam Generators and associated ductwork, stacks and platforms. Our contribution was so successful that we have since entered into a formal partnership with the equipment manufacturer, Innovative Steam Technologies (IST), to provide ongoing high-level engineering support. It is one of a number of long-term relationships and partnerships that JNE has developed with its customers.
