As part of a $119 million investment in its primary steelmaking operations at ArcelorMittal Dofasco Inc., JNE Consulting was actively involved with the overall project management of a baghouse, from detailed engineering, contract administration, and construction management.

The overall project was anticipated to increase slab capacity by 25% to 5 million tons.

• JNE provided owner's representation for the overall project management, contract administration, construction management and QA/QC for the equipment procurement and installation.

• System volume: 110,000CFM @ 275 degrees F
• Main exhaust blower: 450 HP (1800rpm)
• Total number of filters: 1800 (120 inches long X 6 inches diam)
